Day 1 :
Delhi Arrival An
assisted transfer to your hotel will be performed upon
your arrival at Delhi airport. Our representative will
ensure your comfort and convenience. Night stay at the
hotel.
Day 2 :
Delhi Sightseeing Tour
Breakfast follows a sightseeing tour of the Delhi city.
Delhi, the capital of India, has long been the center of
political and cultural activities. Delhi has been the
center of power and politics for thousands of years now.
It has resulted into the development of a rich cultural
heritage, which is reflected in the form of
architectural edifices such as Qutub Minar, Humayun
tomb, Birla temple, Red Fort, India Gate and much more.
Your sightseeing will cover all the above mentioned
structures as well as the Rashtrapati Bhavan, Parliament
House, Jama Masjid and Chandni Chowk. To relive the past
of Delhi you can catch the sound and light show held at
the Red Fort/Old fort in the evening. Overnight stay
will be at hotel.
Day 3 :
Delhi to
Jaipur
(256 kms, 5 hrs drive).
In the morning you will be picked up from the hotel and
driven to Jaipur which is the capital of Rajasthan
popularly known as the “Pink City” due to the pink
coloured walls of markets, old houses and monuments. On
arrival at Jaipur check in at hotel. After checking in,
you can spend rest of the time at leisure in the hotel.
Evening enjoy Rajasthani folk dance show followed by
Dinner in a city restaurant or optionally you can choose
to visit the ethnic village restaurant Chokhi Dhani
which lies around 10 kms out of the city of Jaipur.
Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Jaipur.
Day 4 :
Jaipur sightseeing
After early breakfast at hotel take an excursion to the
classical monument of Amer fort which is situated on the
top of Aravali hills overlooking the Jaipur city. The
construction of this fort was started by Maharaja Man
Singh I in 1592, and was completed by his descendent
Maharaja Jai Singh I. It's forbidding exterior belies an
inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Mughal and
Hindu styles finds it's ultimate expression. Afternoon
Continue the sightseeing tour of Jaipur visit City
Palace - A delightful blend of Mughal and traditional
Rajasthani architecture, Jantar Mantar- This is the
largest and the best preserved of the five observatories
built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country,
Hawa Mahal- The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built
in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Mahal was a royal
grandstand for the palace women. Return back to the
hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5 :
Jaipur to
Agra
(223 Kms / 4 Hrs drive) ex Fatehpur Sikri
After breakfast you will proceed to Agra by road,
visiting Fatehpur Sikri on the way. Fatehpur Sikri
boasts of some wonderful monuments that were built
during the Mughal rule in India. The buildings at
Fatehpur Sikri present a unique blend of Hindu and
Islamic architecture. The town of Fatehpur Sikri was
initially the capital of the Mughal Empire in India for
a few years before being abandoned due to lack of water.
Later proceed to Agra and check in at Hotel. Relaxed
time and night stay at your hotel in Agra.
Day 6 :
Agra sightseeing
During the sunrise, it is the perfect time to explore
the most beautiful monument Taj Mahal. One of the Seven
Wonders of the World Taj Mahal was built by Mughal
emperor Shah Jahan in 1631 AD for his beloved wife and
was completed in 1651 AD. The symbol of Love stands with
all its glory on the bank of river Jamuna and it
attracts maximum number of visitors every year. After
breakfast in the hotel visit the Agra Fort - The
original red sandstone fort was built by Akbar in 1565.
Shah Jahan added the marble palaces inside and
Itmad-Ud-Daulah’s Tomb - A marble memorial with
exquisite inlay work built by Nur Jahan, queen of
Jahangir, for her father, in 1628. Evening free for
shopping or relaxed in a hotel. Overnight stay will be
at hotel.
Day 7 :
Agra to
Delhi
(204 kms / 4 hrs drive)
In the morning after breakfast, drive to Delhi. On
arrival Delhi you will be directly transferred to Delhi
airport to board a flight to Cochin, the capital of
God’s own country-Kerala. On arrival at Cochin airport,
transfer to the hotel. Later enjoy sightseeing tour of
Cochin, Kerala's commercial centre, which has a fine
natural harbor. Cochin (Kochi) is famous for the
Mattanchery Palace, St. Francis Church, Wellington
Island, Bolghatty Island, Chinese Fishing nets and
Jewish Synagogue. Cruising on the back-waters provides
glimpses of the rural life, fine view of the harbor and
three islands. Overnight stay will be at Hotel.
Day 09 :
Cochin to
Munnar
(125 Kms, 3 Hrs drive)
This morning after breakfast, drive to Munnar and on
arrival, check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day free.
Largely blanketed by tea plantations, the little hill
resort of Munnar is blessed with breathtaking natural
scenic beauty at an altitude of 1525 m. The atmosphere
is fragrant with extensive tea and cardamom plantations.
There are enchanting high ranges, lakes and streams and
lovely views of low flying clouds and mist filled
valley. Night stay at the hotel in Munnar
Day 10 :
Munnar to
Periyar (100 Kms, 2 Hrs
drive)
Have a hearty breakfast at hotel in Munnar and then
drive to Periyar National Park. On arrival, check-in at
the hotel. Periyar Wildlife sanctuary is spread over an
area of about 777 sq km and it has about 35 tigers and
leopards. Still sighting a tiger in Periyar is a rare
occurrence, but not impossible obviously. The park
encompasses a 26 sq km artificial lake and is the home
of sambars, wild boars, elephants and antelopes, which
can be occasionally seen on the banks of the lake during
a boat cruise. Periyar, otherwise, blessed by nature has
enormous tea, coffee, pepper and cardamom plantations
and has lush green hills. Afternoon you can enjoy a boat
cruise on Lake Periyar to view the wildlife activities.

Day 11 :
Periyar to Kumarakom
(156 Kms, 4 Hrs drive)
This morning head to the motherland of the beautiful
backwater of Kerala, known as Kumarakom. Drive to
Kumarakom via Kottayam which lies 64 kms from Cochin. It
is another commercial center of Kerala dotted with many
churches and covered with rubber plantations. Kottayam
is just 16 km away from Kumarakom and Vembanad Lake. To
the city's west are delightful backwaters and to its
east is the most fertile and scenic part of the Western
Ghats having rubber, tea, coffee, pepper and cardamom
plantations. On arrival, transfer by ferry to backwater
Resort. Rest of the day free to relax and enjoy the
beautiful destination. Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 12 : Embark on houseboat / Thottapally
village resort.
After breakfast, board a Kerala Houseboat, popularly
known as 'Kettuvalam', for a journey to the beautiful
and scenic backwater of Kerala. Cruise through
Pallathuruthy Canal, Karimpavalavu village, Karumady
canal - a long stretch of narrow canal - to reach
Thottappally village. Enroute you can visit Karumady
Kuttan (a statue of Buddha and a Temple). Evening
witness the sunset through the coconut palms. Enjoy the
memorable dinner under a million stars, while traveling
through the backwaters in your houseboat. Night stay
will be on board the backwater cruise.
Day 13 :
Transfer to
Kovalam (140 Kms, 4 Hrs
drive).
Early morning wake up to the tunes of lovely birds and
watch sun climbing over the palm trees. Have your
breakfast on the houseboat and and enjoy your cruise,
seeing the simple life of the village people along your
cruise route. You can also see good being bought and
sold or bartered by men plying boats in the water.
Disembark at Allepey and drive to the beautiful beach
destination of Kovalam (World famous for its sun kissed
white sand beaches) for overnight stay at your resort in
Kovalam.
Day 14 :
Kovalam
Day free to enjoy relax and rejuvenate yourself with 3S
(Sea, Sand and Sun). Overnight Kovalam.
Day 15 :
Excursion tour to
Kanyakumari
Today we have a full day excursion tour to Kanyakumari
planned for you. Kanyakumari is the land’s end of
Souther India where the water of the Arabian Sea, The
Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean meet. It is also an
important pilgrimage centre of India. It is also famous
for the Amman Temples - a symbol of unity and sanctity -
dedicated to the virgin Goddess. At Kanyakumari visit
the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial, dedicated to
Indian Saint Vivekananda then visit memorial of
Thiruvalluvar, a Tamil saint who had written the
Thirukkural, containing 1330 verses for a better living
for every human. Evening drive back to Kovalam for night
stay at your resort in Kovalam.
Day 16 : Fly to Mumbai ex Trivandrum
Morning, drive down to Trivandrum - the capital of
Kerala, built over seven forested hills. On arrival
Trivandrum visit the Padmanabhaswamy Temple - This
temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu contains several
inscriptions and excellent murals, innumerable intricate
stone carvings adorn the temple, The Napier Museum of
Arts and Crafts completed in 1880. It house a priceless
collection which includes 15th century wood carvings of
Kerala, Gold necklaces and belts, ivory work, a carved
temple chariot and wooden models of the famous temples
of Kerala and 14th century Vijayanagar bronzes. Sri
Chitra Art Gallery has a collection of splendid
paintings from the Rajput, Moghul and Tanjore school.
The most impressive of all is the beautiful treatment of
Hindu mythological themes in the oil paintings of Raja
Ravi Varma exhibited here.
Later transfer to the airport for the flight to Bombay.
Assistance on arrival and transfer to international
airport for your onward flight.
