Day 01: Arrive
Bangalore
Upon arrival at Bangalore airport you will be welcomed
in traditional Indian style by our representative who
will escort you to your prebooked hotel in Bangalore.
Night stay at Bangalore hotel.
Day 02 :
Bangalore Sightseeing
Today after breakfast we will take you to the
sightseeing tour of Bangalore city also known as Silicon
Valley of India. Guided city tour includes visit to Lal
Bagh Gardens famous for its blooming red roses. The
foundation of this famous garden was laid down by
Emperor of Mysore named Haidar Ali. Also visit Vidhana
Soudha, a famous landmark whose architecture is based on
Neo Dravidian style. It is basically the seat of State
Legislature. Visit the Bull Temple also called Nandi
Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, at Bull temple, the
monolithic statue of sitting bull attracts large number
of devotees all over the world. Also visit Tipu Sultan’s
Palace in Bangalore constructed totally of teak wood and
thereby described as ‘ Abode of Happiness’. Evening
return back to the Hotel in Bangalore for night stay.
Day 02 :
Bangalore –
Mysore
(139 kms / 03 hrs drive)
Today after breakfast drive down to Mysore known as the
Sandalwood city of India. Upon arrival check into your
hotel and later enjoy the sightseeing tour of Mysore
city visiting Brindavan Gardens-famous for its colourful
dancing fountains that come into existence when the sun
sets. Visit the Zoological Gardens which houses a fine
collection of animals, birds and snakes. Also visit
Mysore famous landmarks, Chamundeshwari temples located
on the top of Chamundi Hills. If you are crazy about
paintings then Jagmohan palace is a good option for you.
This palace has now been converted into an art gallery
which provides you with a vast collection of painting,
sculptures and musical instruments. Later return back to
the for night stay.
Day 03 :
Mysore -
Nagarhole National Park
Head to Nagarhole National Park this morning. If you are
really a nature lover then this is the place where your
search ends. Nagarhole National Park is a habitat of
endangered species. The Nagarhole derive its name from
the 02 words i.e. Naga means ‘ Snake ‘ and Hole meaning
‘ Streams ‘. Evening enjoy the resort facilities at
Nagarhole National Park in South India tour.
Day 04 :
Nagarhole National Park
Early morning one can go for a coracle ride on the
Kabini River. Afternoon enjoy the jeep safari to watch
the wildlife activities. Evening return back to the
lounge for relaxing time and night stay.
Day 05 : Nagarhole – Coonoor
Drive to Coonoor which is often described as the queen
of Nilgiris. Upon arrival check into your hotel at
Coonoor. After freshen up enjoy tour of Coonoor. Visit
the Dolphin’s Nose, a huge rock resembles the dolphin’s
nose. Drive through the lamb’s rock which is an
admirable place for clicking the holiday snaps and from
there you can enjoy the lateral view of tea estates.
Also visit Sim’s park which is famous for its exclusive
plant species. Evening you can enjoy the beauty of
nature at your own. Later transfer to your hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 06 : Coonoor –
Cochin (314 kms / 06
hrs drive)
Today we will take you to Cochin, the queen of Arabian
Sea and the Capital city of the green land of Kerala. ON
the way visit Malabar coast. At Cochin one can also
experience some of the finest available Ayurvedic
Massage treatments in Kerala. Time free to relax in your
hotel at Cochin. In the evening you can ask your agent
to arrange Kathakali dance show and / or Martial Art
performance which is also an attraction in Cochin.
Day 07 :
Cochin. Overnight
Cochin.
After a relaxed morning enjoy the sightseeing of Cochin.
Visit the St. Francis church where the famous invader
Vasco De Gama was buried in 1524. Visit the famous Dutch
Palace which has paintings depicting scenes mainly from
Hindu epics Ramayana and Mahabharta. Visit the Jewish
Synagogues that houses the famous gold and silver crowns
gifted by the famous portants of the state. Also visits
the famous Cochin Museums - Like other museums this
museums houses an interesting collection of old
paintings, coins and sculptures. Afternoon enjoy the
boat cruise to explore certain islands around and also
the Chinese fishing nets. Later transfer to your hotel
in Cochin for night stay.
Day 08 :
Cochin –
Munnar
(140 kms / 04 hrs drive)
After breakfast we leave to the beautiful hill station
of Munnar which is often described as the ‘Heaven of
Peace’. If you are tired out of the hustles and bustles
of today’s busy life then this is the place where you
can find peace. Drive through the lush green and
beautiful tea-plantation of Kerala to reach Munnar.
Evening free for personal activities and exploring the
beauty around your resort.
Day 09 :
Munnar Sightseeing
Early morning after breakfast enjoy the sightseeing of
this famous hill station. Visit The Kundale Tea
Plantation, Eravikulam Wildlife Sanctuary, Rajmalai Park
and High Range Club. Eravikulam Wildlife Sanctuary
provides shelter to the endangered species of Wildlife
goat known as Nilgiri Tahr. Evening one can also enjoy
the boating in the lakes. Night stay in the resort of
Munnar.
Day 10 :
Munnar –
Periyar (110 kms / 03
hrs drive)
After breakfast drive down to Periyar wildlife Sanctuary
(also known as Thekkady). Upon arrival check into the
jungle resort. Periyar National Park in Kerala is
considered as one of the finest wildlife sanctuaries and
a habitat for large herds of elephants, wild boar, black
langurs, flying squirrels and sambar deer. Evening enjoy
the resort facilities in Periyar Wildlife reserve during
your South India tour.
Day 11 : Boat cruise tour at
Periyar
Early morning enjoy the boat cruise at Periyar Lake
through the jungle to watch the wildlife activities.
Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at your hotel in
Periyar.
Day 12 :
Periyar –
Madurai (140 kms / 04 hrs drive)
Today we will take you to second largest city of
Tamilnadu, Madurai. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel
and later after freshen up enjoy the sightseeing tour of
Madurai. Madurai is famous for its outstanding and very
beautiful Meenakshi temple. This temple is dedicated to
Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Also visit Thirumalai
Nayak Palace which has 02 components Swargavilasa and
Rangavilasa. If time permits also visit Gandhi Museums
which constitutes rare objects used by Mahatma Gandhi,
the Father of the Nation. Night stay at your hotel In
Madurai.
Day 13 :
Madurai –
Chennai flight
Intime transfer to the domestic airport to board the
flight for Chennai. Upon arrival check into your
prebooked hotel. After relaxation enjoy the sightseeing
of Chennadi (Madras). Start your tour with a visit to
Saint Mary’s church, first Anglican church in Asia. Also
visit the St. George Fort, considered as a home away
from home for many British officials of the East India
Company. Drive along the Marina beach, comprising of
golden sand and clear blue sky. End the tour with
Kapaleshvara temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Later
return back to the hotel in Chennai for night stay.
Day 14: Leave
Chennai
In time transfer to the International airport to board
the flight for your home / Next destination. The
wonderful tour to South India ends with happy memories.
